Truth in Numbers

Regina Lewis, data scientist, will be conducting research on behalf of Black Yarn Inc. to examine the ways various federal policies impact the racial wealth gap nationally and in Kentucky. Her research will include two distinct descriptive analyses–one focusing on racial segregation and its relationship to returns on housing, and the other focused on the changes in the wealth gap over time–to build a comprehensive picture of experiences and outcomes for Black families in Kentucky.
