Food For Thought
Dinner & Conversation: Friday, September 19
This September, Food for Thought invites you to an evening of insight, connection, and conversation. On Friday, September 19, join filmmaker Kristen LaRue Bond, researcher Regina Lewis, and host Lillie Ruschell for a keynote and dinner exploring what it means to repair, rebuild, and envision a more equitable future for all. The dialogue will be shaped by Kristen’s new film, Resilience in the Redline, which traces the lasting impact of housing discrimination in Lexington. Over a beautifully prepared meal and open bar, courageous conversation meets warm hospitality, creating space to listen deeply, learn openly, and lean into the shared work of community building.
“Those who say it can’t be done are usually interrupted by others doing it.”
– James Baldwin
